Barrik: UPDATE

By the time we hit April, we had been playing our Rhyme of the Frost-Maiden campaign for about 4 months and a lot had happened to my DnD character, Barrik. He had already died, been brought back to life, learned to trust his new allies and to his horror… had killed a man in cold blood. Despite his mistakes, he was doing everything he could to embrace his humanity rather than the monstrous yeti within.

It felt like his character design needed to reflect that change and so I decided to make him clean shaven. I actually like this version of Barrik better than with his logger’s mutton chops.

After dabbling with forbidden yeti blood magic to try to save his own life, Barrik found himself forever cursed with yeti lycanthropy. His life torn to shreds in the struggle to find the balance between dwarf and yeti, Barrik ventured north to find answers… and explore the monster within.
