This piece was an experimental one that I started at the tail end of the work retreat I mentioned in my previous post.
I was exploring around all the different drop down menus in Procreate and noticed they have a “Glitch” tool. I used this piece to experiment around with it and it turns out to be REALLY powerful and quite flexible.
After a couple hours of messing around with, It’s pretty easy to let the distortion get out of hand but you can get some fun results if you're diligent. Definitely not the tool for every project but I’m defiantly stoked every time I get the chance to use it.
I was listening to a lot of Silent Planet and Invent Animate at the time and all of the text is lyrics from their songs… hehe.
