A cover idea for a SPACERS comic! I drew this at our Bible Project work retreat as an away to keep my mind occupied during all of our meetings and breakout sessions. Funnily enough, this has become one of my favorite pieces I’ve made. (FALL 26 timestamp)
I was fresh off those Cyberpunk character designs and I enjoyed the process of making those so much I wanted to see if that style fit into my SPACERS world.
I really enjoy the delicate, round brush, mono-line inks and the simple colors and gradients. A lot more simple than I tend to go but more isn’t always better.
A fun reminder that sometimes your favorite pieces can come out of nowhere.
BRAE.
