This was the season of starting new DnD campaigns. A couple months after starting Greyhawk my OTHER group of DnD friends got really excited about starting a Cyberpunk Red campaign. At the time I was visiting my parents for a couple days and used our family movie time to sit on the couch and draw out 3 different character concepts. For this group of friends, I often offer to draw everyones’s characters so this would also be a good trial run to figure out how I wanted them to look.
Ultimately I went with this mix of wanted poster / character sheet and I still really like how they turned out. I loved getting to add all the little design elements and drawing all of the lifework with JUST the hard round brush was really fun.
This was the first character I came up with, Jack: a real no nonsense Maelstrom gangster who’d completely given up her humanity over her life of crime. This wasn’t the character I ended up choosing to play but she floats into my mind every now and then - very fun character.
